Organization Backstory (Min. of 250+ Words & any images):
The Eastside Slausons (ESS) are an African american street gang made up of a mix of young males ages 13-19. The ESS fall under the categories of both a West Coast and East Coast gang. They are often engaged in warfare with gangs from other parts of town.. Its members traditionally wear regular street clothing with a blue or black gang rag hanging from their pocket or worn another way, a practice that has grown, due to a rise in new gang members. Historically, members have been primarily of African American heritage, however there have been sets made up of Mexicans and Asians as well.

They only care about their own neighborhood and make it their job to police their turfs. They will almost certainly keep people from selling drugs on their block but aren’t afraid to sell on other peoples turf, thinking: “better their people get drug addicted than ours.”.

Their hangouts are usually alleyways, bars, or any black owned businesses. They also have a keen sense for vandalism and will tag rival gang turf with their own graffiti. 

They gained their notoriety by being the main perpetrators of a slew of robberies all across the city of New York. With this, they gained reputation, which earned them respect in the streets. 

The Slausons are typically non hostile to non rival mobs or gangs, so if you bump into them, as long as you aren’t an opp, you should be okay. They might even give you some work if you get on their good side.

After single handedly bringing two local black gangs together (the Bambas and the Uptowns) to form one super gang, the young LA teen, Stanley Williams, created the Eastside Slausons gang. The gang itself is named after Slauson Avenue in California, which is the hood where Stanley lived before he moved to the East Coast. With their west coast heritage, the gang also uses west coast gang signifiers such as bandanas and sports clothing.



It all started when Tookie Williams, a young teen from California, moved to New York City (A.K.A. Union City) in 1963. After getting of the plane he knew he’d have to get his hands dirty to make some easy money. So he turned to the local chapter of the Yakuza to do heroin runs for them. While out on a drug run he was confronted by a local gang known as the Northside Clingers or NSC for short. They hassled him and after getting into a struggle, they shot Tookie in the side with a Smith and Wesson revolver, sending him on a trip to the hospital.


Tookie quickly recovered and after exiting the hospital he came across another gang, that was hanging out on a street corner across from the hospital. They were seemingly the opposite of the clingers. Instead of black clothes and red gang rags they sported lighter blue clothing with black and blue gang rags. After approaching them he found out that they were the Uptowns or UT's. After telling them about being attacked by the Clingers, they swiftly welcomed him into their gang and gave him a gang rag of his own.

The only other known street gang was another set known as the Bambas, made up of young Dominicans ages 14 and up.

Tookie would go on to bring the Bambas and the Uptowns together to create the first ever version of the Slausons, known as the "Neighborhood Alliance" or the "Blue Alliance". Then, after an attack on the Clingers stronghold, known as 'BlackJack Cuts', a barbershop on the North Side of town, the police began a major crackdown, causing all of the gangs to flee south for safety and to avoid arrest. After about a year, the gangs saw the city of Southside NJ as the perfect spot to take over. Following in the Mobs footsteps, the street gangs followed them to Southside where they set up and prepared to continue their criminal activities. 

Finally, Tookie was able to complete his gang. He and Caesar Santana reunited to create one of the most notorious street gangs in east coast history. The Eastside Slausons.

+1 however a word of advice because as far as I can tell street gangs are usually the quickest to go. You need to understand that there is already pretty much "territory" on the server so if you plan to rob ANYWHERE be aware of that. I've seen hella street gangs that have good leadership but can't control their people, and end up getting wiped or losing most active members.

+1 Guys a good person I remember the rp character tookie from mp when I ran Oni-Kai, it was always good experiences. The App has good lore elements. I just will say street gangs on diverge are a dying breed.

Another street gang that's members all have long ass wrap sheets of bans and are always in and out of admin sits. I think think I'm starting to see a pattern of mingery here...good app though. Can't wait to get mugged again.
