My suggestion would be, adding varieties of ways to buy locks and keep your houses and/or cars secure. For example, buying upgrading car locks so that it will take a longer time to lockpick said car, or a specific item that can be legally obtained to upgrade your door locks to keep them more secure.

I feel like this would give criminals more of a risk/reward when breaking into houses or stealing cars.
