Why should you be unPK'd?:

An individual offered to sell me a Tec9 for $2,000 to me in front of an ATM, I declined
- he decided to try to lure me into the alleyway, he gives up trying to lure me and pulls out a tec9 and tells me to stop resisting, as I tried to calm the situation down, with means to pay him $ he RDMs me..

This was not a failedmug on my end, I was not running and had the means to give the individual money, there are multiple points that voids this as a "proper" mugging (according to Diverge Rules)
-mugging in front of ATM
-mugging in broad day
-mugging in front of NPC

The clip I provided has no means or intent to be favorable.
In addition I would like to point out the fact that you've broken RP by saying that "an admin is watching right now"
Which is similar to the fact that saying a phrase like "PK" during a mug is breaking RP and voids any PK active mugging.

After all of this was done, he said the following in-game
"I'm gonna get this retard pk'd

I mean, to be completely honest, it seems like he was at the very entrance of the alleyway, half of which is made of a partially visible fence, and he was only like 6 feet from the ATM. I don't disagree that it does seem he tried to use the ATM to his favor, but it doesn't really look like a fair mugging anyway, because if all someone has to do to get to the mug-free zone is tap their S key like twice then I think you're pushing those limits with that robbery...
I feel like both are at equal fault, probably best to just not try and PK each other and just let it go, it's only a mugging after all

I was just looking at the clip again, and I am not sure how the exact rules of fearRP work, but I believe that if you're pointing your gun away from the victim, as you were when you were sprinting around in circles around him, could enable him to move, and still be in the bounds of fearRP, and the fact he made his way to the ATM before you shot him makes it even more complicated. I am by no means an expert on the rules here, but it just seems all pretty scuffed and not a very fair PK

1. If the person with the weapon puts it away or turns his line of sight (Meaning the user has turned completely away and is not even slightly facing you. Usually an angle of larger than 90 degrees), fearRP becomes null and you may take the window of opportunity to retaliate with little to no risk. (Does not apply if multiple weapons are pointed at you)
   

Eh, I don't know if it was ever MORE than 90 degrees, but I do believe taking slow steps back when you're not aiming the gun at him is somewhat reasonable

I am the admin that approved your PK. Your clip is indeed shortened to your favor. From the muggers clip, it appears to be completely valid.


He initiated the Fear RP in an alley. You were not in front of the ATM. You purposely moved in front of one, to try and void it. and even if you were by the ATM, you were not interacting with it. Making it valid regardless. Please read the server rules below.

3. You may NOT mug in front of NPCs as they are considered witnesses in RP. You may not bypass this rule by attempting to 'pull them away under fearrp' infront of an NPC. >>Do not target people using NPCs/ATMs.<<

10. You may NOT mug AFK users who are busy interacting with an NPC/ATM.

2. Secluded and non public areas include; Alleys, dark corners, areas void of other players or NPCs/abandoned buildings.

You walked away in an attempt to escape the mugger. Please read the Server rule below.

1. While under fearrp it's recommended you oblige by the commands of your captor, if you attempt to escape or pull out a weapon to fight back but are killed that would display a disregard for your own safety, a calculated risk you took which failed, resulting in your PK.

I am unsure of the server rules you were reading that help your case.

I've seen both clips. the clip you provided is obviously meant to make you seem more favorable, you moved in front of the ATM in an attempt to void this, you were IN THE ALLEYWAY, this was completely valid. if you didn't have a gun on you (which I assume you didn't), there was no point in doing what you did. If you did have the means to pay, you should have paid, you got PKed due to your own actions.

I suggest you either read up on the server rules, or if you have already, do not exploit them with trimmed clips to make your case look better than it actually is.

Most of you are understanding it incorrectly, but it's plain and simple.

The player did not comply to the FearRP commands, and was placed under FearRP within the rules. Even if the player was in vision of the ATM, it would not have mattered as the ATM does not protect you for being near it. It only protects you if you are interacting/using it. You can initiate mugs in public areas, but cannot transfer items and such in them.

Also, the clip was clearly an attempt to make it seem in your favor (assuming you misunderstand the rule), but it does not matter regardless edited or not.
