Organization Backstory (Min. of 150+ Words): In the ghettos of the Bronx lies an underground network of drugs, crime, and violence. Anywhere you turn, you can be mugged by a mobster or questioned by police. The constant discrimination we must face by both sides of the same system that is put in place to bring us down. We will not stand for it, we will fight, we are the resistance. The Black Spades is a prominently African American gang that was formed to protect those inner-city folk who have witnessed their neighborhoods being bombarded with addicts, violent criminals, and corrupt law enforcement. We are young advocates that partake in the urban lifestyle through means of rebellion against the system. Through the word of mouth, our message will be spread and our associates will grow. We are an organization formed to create structure in the anarchy that is the ghettos of New York, and to create a voice of those who do not have one, by any means necessary.
