What is your motivation/reason for applying?:  Well My reason for applying is by rejoining staff well because I missed being a staff member on diverge networks so I decided to join it again and to take care of the server. Another reason why I am applying is because I want to help people around the server people who are new to this server as well. Another reason I am applying is because I want to help other staff members who also need help as well and to make sure that the server is fine. Another reason I am applying is to try another chance by rejoining staff again because you know its been a while and I wanna have another chance
Why should you be considered over other candidates?:  Well because what makes me being considered over other candidates is because I have been a moderator here before I am experienced with commands I am experienced with other stuff as well on what to do. Another reason by being considered over other candidates is I am active I am able to reach my quota every week as well and to have good playtime. Another reason by being considered over other candidates is I am a guy who wants to help other people by being kind to other people as well to treat people with respect. How do you handle this?: Well if some one rdm's what I would do is I would make a ticket  and to make another staff member take it or to bring me into the sit room and provide the clip to the other staff member of the guy who is rdming and stuff by breaking the rules or if Im the only staff member online And I would see a ticket about it then I would claim it.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Well What I would do is by clipping it and by reporting the staff member  who is abusing their powers and then I would send it to my high ranking staff members showing them the clip of a staff member rdming.
A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? What is your motivation/reason for applying?:
To cut straight to the chase, I have spent a lot of time on this server and I do wish the best for it. Theres been many instances where I am on at off hours where I do notice extended amount of time between tickets being claimed, as someone who on quite often during these times I think I could be of use to lessen the load. Additionally, in RP ive hit a plateau in the sense that I've held many positions such as, HC in a faction, detective, assistant district attorney, etc etc. I think in addition to me being able to assist the server as an active staff member this will also give me a fresh new perspective of things. Also, I have hopes of maybe becoming a gamemaster eventually. I have a few events in mind that would be fun for the players involved. Lastly, I enjoy meeting all sorts of new people and I think staffing on the server is a wonderful way to do that.

Why should you be considered over other candidates?:
I will note a couple reasons why I believe I should be considered over other candidates: Firstly, I myself am very aware of the rules of the server, I've spent plently of time to learn what is right and what is against the rules. Secondly, I am very active, both during peak hours and off hours, meaning I will always be around to help take tickets and make sure players aren't waiting for their sits to be dealt with. Also, I have plenty of staffing experience on other servers in a multitude of different positions, so whichever position I'm in ill be well aware of my responsibilities and what is expected of me.

Due to my legal characters name being public Id say in rp that character is more well known then my main, as for my main RP character I'd its probably known by my factions allies but maybe not as much as my other. As for myself as an actual person im probably most known as the guy pendred likes to call 5'2 or whateva in diverge general. But overall I do think my reputation is good.

What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?:
Honestly, its hard to say. Whether it be the countless RP events done by either by faction or faction allies, or the silly little late night events such as pendreds when he made us all short and had us race around the city in tiny HL2 buggies on new years.

Well for starters, obviously I would not take my own sit. I would use @ chat and ask for a staff member to take it for me. In the sit Ill hand over the clip and make sure the sit is taken care of just like I was any other player that wasnt staff. In the event I was the only staff member on to avoid any sign of self-bias I'd either go into the discord staff chat and ask if anyone is available to get on OR if anyone is unable, I'd use the Player Reports category on the forums just like if I was any normal player.

You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?:
In my genuine opinion the best possible thing you can do here is, collect evidence of said abuse whether it be clips, snippets from logs, or whatever the case might be. From there I would forward the evidence to the proper channels depending on the rank of the person.

A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?:
To Avoid any chance of bias (everyone holds some sort of bias) similarly to the previous question regarding if I myself get RDMd, I will call for another staff member to handle this sit IF POSSIBLE. What is your motivation/reason for applying?:  
Recently I've been thinking about it, and it's been suggested to me, so I thought why not give it a go. I've also seen an increase in wait times for staff tickets during both peak hours, and low population. I would like to eventually become a GM and host events with RP, and happily assist any staff member who needs help with events. If I'm on gmod, odds are I'm playing Diverge. I think that that it's my turn to contribute to the community and get to know it better,  in terms of staff and players. 

Why should you be considered over other candidates?: 
 While I know I'll need to be taught a few things, I know that I can manage a large workload under pressure, and that I don't rush decisions. I think about the positives and negatives before I act. I will admit that I do have occasional lapses in judgement, however I am quick to accept responsibility for my actions, and understand that my actions have consequences. I have plenty of staffing / GM experience in an array of gamemodes, and would love to learn more about staffing on Diverge. I'm great at separating OOC/IC issues, and understand that these issues need to be pushed aside to ensure both team efficiency, and professionalism. I not only understand when I am wrong, but I'm also not afraid to ask for help and/or a second opinion. Lastly, I would like to note that sometimes I can come off as rude, however that's not my intention. I view everything as it is, and nothing more.

Yes, once for RDM. I took something too far, and acted out of line. I've since learned from this mistake.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: 
I wouldn't say I'm "well known", but I am most definitely heard of, as people ask if I'm Melissa White simply based off of hearing my voice. I'd like to think I have a good reputation, however some would disagree.  I think some would view me as a honest, dedicated person, while others may view me as an asshole who they hate. I don't really have any serious grudges with anyone, and anyone who views me as anything negative should reach out to me personally so it can be sorted out. Some members dislike me based off of things I have said or done, or a personal opinion, which is fine. 

What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: 
I have honestly had so many fond memories here that it's impossible to pick just one. I've been staring at this question for 10 or so minutes, and I honestly have no idea.

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?:
I would first ask if another staff member is available via @, and request to be taken to a sit room and provide evidence, just like any other player would. If I am the only staff member on / available, I would wait until a ticket was made, and walk away and place myself in an area void of RP and players, and swap to my staff character. I have recently noticed that during a RP situation, everyone freezes and / or diverts their attention to the player who just disappeared for a short period of time, hence why I would first walk away. Then, I would switch to my staff character and deal with it like every other RDM sit, no reason for this to differ. If no ticket was made, I would simply make a player report on the forums, after gathering all evidence required.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?:

Firstly, I would question the staff member in a friendly manner to ensure it wasn't something such as an event, which they forgot to log. If it continues, I would do my best to collect all possible incriminating evidence (logs, recordings of their abuse, screenshots etc) and submit a staff report. If they are a member of UA, given they can see the reports, I would speak to the person one above their rank and ask what I do from there.


A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?:

I believe that everyone has some form of bias, so I would request that another staff member take the ticket as I would want to ensure that person is properly and fairly punished, and the victim is fairly compensated. If this isn't possible, I would take the ticket and deal with the ticket as I would any other sit. I would request a clip from the ticket maker first, and then bring the killer. I would then ask for a clip of the killers POV, as people can edit their clips to swing the sit in their favor. If it looks like RDM, I would tell the friend / faction member that their actions have lead them here, and they should think beforehand. If they have a problem with me for this, I would offer them the chance to conversate with me after they've been punished. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: My motivation is that im dedicated to this server and ive been playing it for some time now too... I used to be staff back in the day, and i just miss helping the server/community out for the better. I find im on quite a bit due to my relaxed work schedule. I miss helping new player and and giving help when its needed. I find im on at time when not too many people are so that helps too.
Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I feel i should be considered because of my past staffing experience. Ive staffed for diverge in the past. Im familiar with all the rules, and commands to do as staff. Im very active on the server so being able to staff for multiple hours a day would be beneficial.
Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): I do, i was administrator for a reallyt old SantosRP community that is no longer around (Defconnations). I staffed there for a few months before i had left due to school. I have also staffed here, at diverge networks in the past. I did that for a few months aswell and it was great. I just got busy with work which was the struggle.
Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I believe i have in the past.. If i were top guess why probably RDM or VDM. im not sure its been a while.
Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: Id say im more respected by people than hated. i have the people i work with, and id like to think they think of me as a hard, dedicated worker.
What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: My favorite moment would have to be some of the events that got hosted in the past.. Ive been around the community for a bit now, and i have made some pretty funny memorys along the way. Majority of them are clipped and saved which is even better haha. But theres been PD vs Gang events that have happend. And those are a ton of fun for both partys which is the best part.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?:  I like to help this community as much as I can. I love this server every moment. In this server I have enjoyed that the staff is well behaved as much as I have seen which is why I love the server too. I have also seen that a lot of people like to break the rules and staff don't see it nor deal with all of it and that is why I am applying. I have always wanted to be a staff member on a gmod server but I have been looking for a good server that I enjoy. And this one has been chosen for my time which is why I am taking my time to fill this application out.

Why should you be considered over other candidates?:  I have experience,  I know how to handle a lot of stuff that happens and how to react to them. I may know more than the others do like commands and what to watch for as a staff member. I also love to help people with their problems. I love paperwork and dealing with solutions. Others may just want to be a staff member for the power and to not really help the community which I am not opposite I want to help. I am not doing this for power of any sort only for a helper of the server.
Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): I have been a dev member for a FiveM server and a staff member for a FiveM server. I have also been a Co-Owner of a server of a game I forget. Along with the owner of a server of the same game I forget. So I do have a lot of experience in staff work. Which will help in my work as a staff in this server or any server for that matter.

Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: No, I have never gotten in trouble. The only time I have been in a sit was when I reported this guy for rdming me. I have been doing my best to avoid getting in trouble because well I am not really the person to break rules. I try to follow rules as much as I can to be the best I can, which is why I am a good candidate for this job. Another thing is I hate people that abuse their power which is why I like rules, rules are good and some people will disagree rules are what keep things from becoming a disaster.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?:  Yes, I would say I am well known especially in the police community. I am also known by admins. Just not all of them are willing to give me recommendations mostly because I have not asked if they would recommend me. There are also a lot of people that know me outside of the police community like a bit of lawyers. I know a judge that I was good friends with. 
What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: Hard to say, I have a lot of good and funny moments on the server. I would probably say the time when me and two other officers were in a bus and the driver ramped off an object and we were sent flying through the air. That was funny, but another one would be the time I was in a police chase and it was madness. Well, almost all the chases are fun. I just like police chases in general.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?:  * I've been on the server for a while and thought about doing this for abit now. I tend to be fairly active and I've had mostly positive interactions with staff on the server. I always end up seeing tickets get left hanging for too long (most of the time because staff are on their char's, perfectly reasonable) and feel that I could at least help mitigate that negative experience. I hope to eventually become a Game Master (events are hella fun), and while on that process I can help GM's with their events and stuff. I also have come up on some free time recently, so it should work out for my schedule.
Why should you be considered over other candidates?:  * I've been in the server for a bit, combining my current experiences with my past, and don't plan on dipping any time soon. I've gone through experiences with staff myself (I may have teetered on the edge of breaking RDM rules a bit a few months ago) and have learned from those experiences, being able to use them for the position. I have a good understanding of the responsibilities of a staff member and have branched out to quite a few different areas of RP in the server, having a good understanding of a lot of it. Thanks to my timezone, I'm able to be on during late hours of the night, which will further mitigate that feeling of staff ignoring tickets. I'm also generally a chill guy and like getting both sides of conflicts before judging them.

I don't know of anyone who has a vendetta against me or generally hates me, nor do I act in a way that will obviously cause those bad relations. Thanks to me branching out to multiple areas of RP quite a few people know me and have had good relations with me. I tend to be respectful to those I meet (unless there's an IC reason to be hostile), and am OOCly chill with those I am hostile to IC.
What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far?: My favorite moment so far from Diverge has been causing Clarence Hamburg's death as Greg Hamburg.

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If other staff members are available I would advise the victim to make an RDM ticket, as me witnessing always makes being a judge of it an iffy situation. If no other staff member is able to take the ticket then I would hop on my staff char. and handle the situation. First, I'd ask the reporting player to give context and provide any clips/evidence, and go through logs to see if that lines up. I would then pull the potential offender into the sit and ask for their side of the story and/or evidence. Based on what's been provided (or lack thereof) I would then dismiss the sit or provide according punishment. If the victim was actually a victim, then I would try to comp them the best I could according to the situation.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would first ask what exactly was going one to see if it was abuse in the first place, then if it continues I'd compile evidence of the potential abuse over time until it is enough to approach a higher staff member with the issue.  
A member of your faction/friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: As this would be a conflict of interest for me, I'd leave myself out of the ticket, as it's not my duty to involve myself in a biased situation. If it is something I can advise my friend against, I would do so.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: Generally i wanted to see what i could contribute to the server seeing as ive explored most there is to offer RP wise (crim, Police, lawyer chars). But one motivation i have is that alot of people have good fun on this server and at times that fun can be interrupted by people that join this server with the express purpose to be a minge , if i had a reason to apply it would be to streamline the experiences of others in their RP by being an active and available moderator to those people. Even then the main motivation for me personally is to simply give back to the server that ive spent quite a long while playing on and its wonderful community.   *

Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I think overall im a very neutral party in the sense that i hold nobody above or below anyone in the server OOCLY, i dont let bias take over my opinion of people who are merely contributing to server RP, I find that for some other people this can be more prevalent as people will take OOC matters into IC discussions merely because they have a fundamental hate over people that are not a part of their faction or that have slighted them IC in the past. In my opinion, every single staff member, optimally, should all have this mindset that the server is merely an ecosystem of people just trying to have fun and to be a member of the staff team is to facilitate that ecosystem so it runs as smoothly as possible for all parties involved,  And if i am considered for This position i absolutely intend to set the standard.    *

What do you do?: Collect instances of each abuse over time via clips screencaps and player opinions and get other staff opinions on the matter depending on their position, if no action is taken from anyone high up enough then i will take it to the big hoss's of the server  (pendred and or bacon) and provide them all the evidence and explain why action should be taken against the member of staff. 

A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: 

Proceed with the same hand i would with any other player in the server, as i stated above i have no intent to be personally biased to anyone i know nor do i intend to soften blows for people that break rules knowing there are consequences to them, If they have (PO's) for the same or similar occurrences i would take it so far as to inform them to be completely 100% honest about the situation provided that there are no clips or logs (which hopefully there should be)  proving his guilt. If the situation is more complex then Initially perceived then i may also get an external opinion from other staff members to further distance myself from any bias or incorrect judgments.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?:  * I had a complete blast working for Icefuse the entire duration of my staff career with them, and moving forward with work in a similar yet different way makes me excited for a new experience that I will take on with Diverge. Also, when staffing for Icefuse I used my skills and creativity to build dupes and builds for the entertainment of the community. Multiple events such as “Capture the Flag, Last One Standing, and other games that I made up on the spot. I would build the entire architecture for the events, and then make the entire game plan for the final event. The events would include incentives, rewards, and different specialty items that I would insinuate from myself for the betterment of the server. With this being said I would love to try some of the past experiments I once did, Of course at the discretion of the community, and on what other staff members' decisions would be as well. Furthermore, I play in this city a significant amount and have donated on a plethora of occasions, and seeing some instances being so bluntly wrong. Finally, My sole reason for becoming a staff member is to do my best to keep the community clean, in character, and kind, and to have an understanding of the rules that keep the other reasons in check. Learning new achievements, skills, and rewards that come into play when looking at a city/server like Diverge Networks. 


Why should you be considered over other candidates?:  * Firstly, I believe every single person has their own attributes, expertise, and skills. However, My past staff experience gives way to many opportunities and past skills that I can say positively say I can build, and work on going forward in this server/city. Second, I am a very kind and compassionate person who understands when people make mistakes and mess-ups. At the same time, I am calm when making decisions and always take a moment or two to think about the choices I am making whether they be severe or not. Every ticket will be met with care and an overall professional manner that I can 100% facilitate. I am also a hard worker who can work under pressure and is easily able to multitask at different times when enforcing people who DO NOT follow the rules, and make it less fun for others to roleplay in any scenario.

I have been a staff member on a variety of servers in the past including (But not limited to):

1. Icefuse - CityRP: The highest rank I ever was, was an Administrator which was pretty high seeing back then they had a ton of lower ranks that you had to get through first. I was staff on three separate occasions since I had to leave multiple times due to personal reasons for a total work time of about 2.5 months or so.
   
2. BallsDeepRP: I was one of the first staff members on this server since I had recently been acquainted with the owner so I was automatically made an Administrator as well for about 2 or 3 weeks before I left.
   
3. Icefuse - DarkRP and Clone Wars: I was able to switch over plenty of times to either server as an administrator but I do not remember if I did or not. But if I did I would have probably only stayed for another month or so. 
   

Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I was banned for minging once which I can say professionally now that it was a very moronic idea to act like a “terrorist” one day and go around blowing up a couple of stove bombs around the city away from people to just make the sound, but I took it too far when I placed down a stove bomb in the PD which was completely unwarranted. 


Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?:  * Being in multiple factions and having a ton of characters that I actively delete and make entirely new main ones have disadvantages. Those disadvantages could be difficulty making a set name for myself out in the city. But when it comes down to it. I would say most people in the factions and organizations that I am already in would know my voice right when they heard it. Most of the time people always ask me if I am the same person who they think they know, most of the time they are correct.

I would ask the victim if they wish to report the individual they can do so by typing “@”, and proceeding with the staff member who takes their ticket. I would also instruct them on how the process might go if they were to take this approach, and then leave it up to them. 


You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: If they are of equal rank or even higher. I would simply ask them to stop the behavior immediately. If they stop I would not persist anymore and thank them for realizing their wrong. If they continue I would remove myself from the situation to not draw myself as a possible abuser as well. After moving to a safe area I would then instruct a higher-up about their overall behavior and demeanor towards me, and the people or areas they might have been “staff abusing”. 


A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. What is your motivation/reason for applying?:  * I had a complete blast working for Icefuse the entire duration of my staff career with them, and moving forward with work in a similar yet different way makes me excited for a new experience that I will take on with Diverge. Also, when staffing for Icefuse I used my skills and creativity to build dupes and builds for the entertainment of the community. Multiple events such as “Capture the Flag, Last One Standing, and other games that I made up on the spot. I would build the entire architecture for the events, and then make the entire game plan for the final event. The events would include incentives, rewards, and different specialty items that I would insinuate from myself for the betterment of the server. With this being said I would love to try some of the past experiments I once did, Of course at the discretion of the community, and on what other staff members' decisions would be as well. Furthermore, I play in this city a significant amount and have donated on a plethora of occasions, and seeing some instances being so bluntly wrong. Finally, My sole reason for becoming a staff member is to do my best to keep the community clean, in character, and kind, and to have an understanding of the rules that keep the other reasons in check. Learning new achievements, skills, and rewards that come into play when looking at a city/server like Diverge Networks. 


Why should you be considered over other candidates?:  * Firstly, I believe every single person has their own attributes, expertise, and skills. However, My past staff experience gives way to many opportunities and past skills that I can say positively say I can build, and work on going forward in this server/city. Second, I am a very kind and compassionate person who understands when people make mistakes and mess-ups. At the same time, I am calm when making decisions and always take a moment or two to think about the choices I am making whether they be severe or not. Every ticket will be met with care and an overall professional manner that I can 100% facilitate. I am also a hard worker who can work under pressure and is easily able to multitask at different times when enforcing people who DO NOT follow the rules, and make it less fun for others to roleplay in any scenario.

I have been a staff member on a variety of servers in the past including (But not limited to):

1. Icefuse - CityRP: The highest rank I ever was, was an Administrator which was pretty high seeing back then they had a ton of lower ranks that you had to get through first. I was staff on three separate occasions since I had to leave multiple times due to personal reasons for a total work time of about 2.5 months or so.
   
2. BallsDeepRP: I was one of the first staff members on this server since I had recently been acquainted with the owner so I was automatically made an Administrator as well for about 2 or 3 weeks before I left.
   
3. Icefuse - DarkRP and Clone Wars: I was able to switch over plenty of times to either server as an administrator but I do not remember if I did or not. But if I did I would have probably only stayed for another month or so.

If so, why?: I was banned for minging once which I can say professionally now that it was a very moronic idea to act like a “terrorist” one day and go around blowing up a couple of stove bombs around the city away from people to just make the sound, but I took it too far when I placed down a stove bomb in the PD which was completely unwarranted. 


Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?:  * Being in multiple factions and having a ton of characters that I actively delete and make entirely new main ones have disadvantages. Those disadvantages could be difficulty making a set name for myself out in the city. But when it comes down to it. I would say most people in the factions and organizations that I am already in would know my voice right when they heard it. Most of the time people always ask me if I am the same person who they think they know, most of the time they are correct.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?:  * I’d like a change in gameplay, sometimes I get very bored with criminal RP and feel like I could use my time better helping people out here on the server. I play on Diverge more than pretty much any other game/server. This is a one of a kind server and to be a part in helping make sure the RP is immersive, high quality and abiding by server rules would be something I’d take pride in and strive for. I’ve contemplated staff for a while and with encouragement from my peers and some staff members plus a mostly clean record I felt well about applying.


Why should you be considered over other candidates?:  * I enjoy solving problems and settling disputes. From extensive IRL experience in both skills I feel like I’d be a solid fit as a staff member. I’m always willing to help and learn when it comes to this server, its gameplay and its rules. Adding staff experience to that knowledge would only help me better improve the quality of RP and gameplay that I can share and teach unto others. I’m also a consistent player usually on every night, I don't take many LOA’s and I’m good at combating burnout.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: First off I am really just on the server a lot. I know some people have told me to apply for staff and it sounds fun. Even though its 20 tickets a week, I know how many tickets are made daily and I could probably get 20 tickets in a day or two. I do have school but as of now I have no extra curricular activities so I am free most of the time. I also know a good amount about the server since I have been on the server for about half a year and especially the rules.

Why should you be considered over other candidates?: Personally I think that I could really add something to the server as a staff member. I am always on the forums making suggestions for the server and I just want to better the server because its really fun, but there are some parts that could be a lot better in my opinion. I am only 15 which may make people annoyed at me especially because I have a higher pitched voice than most people my age but I try not to be annoying. Even though I am young I think I could still add something as a staff member and not be stupid. I also think I am decently good at looking at both sides of an argument and not just taking one persons side which I personally think a lot of people, not just in the server, lack. So overall I think I will just have a good, fun and fulfilling experience as a staff member.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I am somewhat known just because I am on so much and I was HC in a faction at one point so people do kind of know me. I have a recognizable description and a recognizable voice so I'm not a super prominent person that isn't really remembered but some may recognize me. I think some people like me but some people don't. People like my faction members and my friends on the server like me but some people I don't know that well may not like me mostly due to me being young because, its GMod, people rag on you for being young. Also some people may not like me because of how I act in-character, which is honestly their problem because if you can't separate your OOC life from IC stuff, then you need to realize, its just a game and I just want to have fun and make memories. Im not saying im a huge asshole IC, sometimes I will be if im disrespected because thats just my character and its all in the game, but OOC I try not to be toxic to anyone or do anything to anyone OOC because OOC beef is just downright stupid. My rule of thumb is; if someone does something to you IC and you are mad about it, its fine, but being toxic and bashing them OOC is just immature. Same goes for the other side, if you are just causing problems OOC, thats just dumb. I know some people know me for being a funnily bad lawyer sometimes because im not 100% the best at the legal system but Lawyer RP is completely optional and, in all honesty, kind of dumb I decided to do it in the first place because I did get a contempt of court charge on myself once.

How do you handle this?: I would simply clip it for proof, then just finish my roleplay and then I would switch to my staff character, pull both the RDMer and the person who was rdmed into a sit, go through how a normal sit would go, process everything and when im done, I will go about my day probably going back on that character or maybe staying on my staff char if I would like to take any more tickets.

How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?: I would do one of two things. I would either just take the sit like normal with my best judgement and try not to have any bias OR I would ask another member to take it who does not have any bias against them just to 100% insure that I wont be bias. I am not saying I would purposefully be bias but I am just saying I would do that to make 100% sure that I would not have any sort of bias in the back of my mind, if that makes sense. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: First off I am really just on the server a lot. I know some people have told me to apply for staff and it sounds fun. Even though its 20 tickets a week, I know how many tickets are made daily and I could probably get 20 tickets in a day or two. I do have school but as of now I have no extra curricular activities so I am free most of the time. I also know a good amount about the server since I have been on the server for about half a year and especially the rules.

Why should you be considered over other candidates?: Personally I think that I could really add something to the server as a staff member. I am always on the forums making suggestions for the server and I just want to better the server because its really fun, but there are some parts that could be a lot better in my opinion. I am only 15 which may make people annoyed at me especially because I have a higher pitched voice than most people my age but I try not to be annoying. Even though I am young I think I could still add something as a staff member and not be stupid. I also think I am decently good at looking at both sides of an argument and not just taking one persons side which I personally think a lot of people, not just in the server, lack. So overall I think I will just have a good, fun and fulfilling experience as a staff member.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: I am somewhat known just because I am on so much and I was HC in a faction at one point so people do kind of know me. I have a recognizable description and a recognizable voice so I'm not a super prominent person that isn't really remembered but some may recognize me. I think some people like me but some people don't. People like my faction members and my friends on the server like me but some people I don't know that well may not like me mostly due to me being young because, its GMod, people rag on you for being young. Also some people may not like me because of how I act in-character, which is honestly their problem because if you can't separate your OOC life from IC stuff, then you need to realize, its just a game and I just want to have fun and make memories. Im not saying im a huge asshole IC, sometimes I will be if im disrespected because thats just my character and its all in the game, but OOC I try not to be toxic to anyone or do anything to anyone OOC because OOC beef is just downright stupid. My rule of thumb is; if someone does something to you IC and you are mad about it, its fine, but being toxic and bashing them OOC is just immature. Same goes for the other side, if you are just causing problems OOC, thats just dumb. I know some people know me for being a funnily bad lawyer sometimes because im not 100% the best at the legal system but Lawyer RP is completely optional and, in all honesty, kind of dumb I decided to do it in the first place because I did get a contempt of court charge on myself once.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?:

I want to start with that I spent a lot of time and this is the only server I play on when playing gmod. I have a lot of enjoyment and truly appreciate the staff team for keeping the server as fun and fair for everyone. My motivation for wanting to become apart of the staff team, is to assist them in keeping the server fun and fair for all. It is in my opinion that the team could use more members especially in the mornings and later in the evenings as there seems to be a lack of staff compared to all the tickets needed to be answered. Being staff will also give me the opportunity to get to know the community better and is a way for me to contribute and show my appreciation to the server and community. 

Why should you be considered over other candidates?:

While I may not have the experience to currently be a contribution to the staff team, I am a highly motivated individual who is trainable and willing to learn! I want what is best for Diverge server and I know the popularity of the server is all thanks to the staff team keeping the server fun, and fair for all who joins. I feel like I am competent in the decision I make and one who thinks about things before I act upon them instead of jumping the gun. I feel like I also have the maturity and patience which needed to become an excellent staff. While I may not have much experience in managing a gaming community, I held upper management positions and managed people under me (I even built a team from scratch) which I think is a important skill to have in any administration position. Lastly, I want to to reiterate that I am highly motivated and the training and time that someone will put in me will not be waisted as I am dedicated in things I do and sign up for.

I help a lot of people as that character from training, to giving advice, and teaching them the server rules and faction rules they need to know to enjoy the game while not breaking rules.

Lomac. One day I voiced my interest in potentially being part of the staff team and he seemed like he genuinely wanted to see me become one. At this point in time, I did not submit an application due to my concerns and wanting to get to know the server and community better.  Well i have some more free time nowadays recently and i want to get back into staff.
I love this server and want to help out in anyway i can. With the added free time i have  i want to use it to be staff and help keep good rp in the server. I want to be able to meet new people within the staff team. I want to eventully be a game master and set up events for people on the server to enjoy and rp with. Ive been removed twice due to inactivity and the reason was due to me having other responsibility's irl and i just want to get back into 
staff to eventully meet my goal of being a game master.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: 

 Well i have some more free time nowadays recently and i want to get back into staff.
I love this server and want to help out in anyway i can. With the added free time i have  i want to use it to be staff and help keep good rp in the server. I want to be able to meet new people within the staff team. I want to eventully be a game master and set up events for people on the server to enjoy and rp with. Ive been removed twice due to inactivity and the reason was due to me having other responsibility's irl and i just want to get back into 
staff to eventully meet my goal of being a game master.

Why should you be considered over other candidates?: 

 I had some past experience as staff in diverge. I have a lot of experience within the server and have played on it for a year now. I want to become a gamemaster in 
the future to help provide the server with more fun. I want to help prevent others from having their fun ruined by minges. I want to do more for the server and help people enjoy this server more.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: 

 I have been on the server for a year now so id say i am pretty well known within the community. I am mostly known on my crim char Eclipse who has done all sorts of things within crime rp. I am also know on my cop char Buster Scruggs who's been in pd for a good bit of time. I think most people know me from my crim char since people often call me eclipse even when i am not playing that char. Overall i am more known within the crime side of things on the server but as of recently ive been trying to do more within the legal side of the server within pd.

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?:

 I clip it and inform the staff online of the rdm using @ if nobody is on then ill take care of the situation and punish them. 

You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: Clips it and report it to a higher up.

A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?:

 if possible i let another staff member take the ticket so there can be no bias but if thats not possible then i will take the ticket without any bias making a judgment base off of the facts presented, If proof is provided that my friend is rdm'ming and minging then i will give him the punishment suitable for the situation. If that friend gets angry at me and puts our friendship on the line then i could care less i want this server to have a good player base and make sure the people within the server rp is not being ruined due to some minge even if that minge was my friend or faction member.]]>
