Motivation and Experience...

What is your motivation/reason for applying? This server and community have really grown on me. This is a positive community and that's something I want to uphold; I've made a lot of friends here. I was having a conversation with one of the admins late the other night and he convinced me to make an application staying the community could use the extra help. Rule breaking is something I take very seriously, and I'd love to help mitigate that if I can. If I can take a few moments out of my playtime on her to help I'm glad to do so.

Why should you be considered over other candidates? First off, I don't want to take a spot away from someone who would enjoy it. I'm her to help in any way I can when I have time to spare. I got the play time, experience, drive, and motivation to help this community and I know the rules very well. This isn't my first RP server experience and I'm unbiased. From what I've seen is many people take on the responsibility and don't put in the effort after and I'm her to make a difference.

Do you have any previous staffing experience? No, but I've held a trusted position for things such as changing names and player models on another server, which I still have and never abused. Please note I'm very eager to learn.

Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why? Yes. I was banned for LTARP when I first joined. I had gone AFK at the wrong place, wrong time sitting next to my friend's watermelon plants and left for the store IRL (I forgot my PC had a 30-minute AFK shut off timer my char was later discovered and arrested) I went to the forums and explained myself, appealed it successfully, apologized and had my ban reduced to a couple of hours.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you? I'd say I'm most well-known for my dupes. I help a lot of people working as a lawyer and 90% of the time I don't charge, always being polite to both parties in RP which helps to make a difference aside from other people being toxic and yelling at officers in the PD vice versa. I've been told and heard other people talk about how I'm polite and a good person (I hate talking about myself haha). From what I can see on the forums it looks like my reputation is currently +1 I hope to change that becoming more involved here. Thank you.

What is your favorite moment on Diverge so far? When my faction and our allies teamed together raiding the Napoli during their poker night. I also really like the events (weddings, fight nights etc.).

Problem Solving...

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this? If nobody can take the ticket, I'll take it if I can. If not, I'd do one of the following... Copy the player ID clip it and send it to the proper admin channels or make a report on the forums later.

You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you are abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do? I'd politely talk to them and point out what they're doing wrong and make a report to more senior admins because admin abuse can be very demoralizing to a community and shouldn't be tolerate in any form.

A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias? I'd treat the situation like any other ticket. If it's someone who "rarely breaks rules" friend or not they're still breaking rules. The only instance where bias would play in is if the accusing party didn't have a clip or any evidence and I didn't witness what happened I'd then take my friends word.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?:
My Motivation for applying to staff is because of my personal experience of waiting for my ticket to be taken for simple requests. The response time can be so long for something simple that a mod can do especially during late nights on weekdays. I will dedicate myself to being a staff member who is on during times when there are few to be found or active. I wish to help everyone in need who makes or creates a ticket whether it is to report a player or a simple locker combo. I stay up very late most of the time seeing 1 active staff member pulling all the weight, I wish to not only help in-game people but alleviate staff as well who dedicate their energy responding back and forth. *

Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I should be considered over other candidates because I have been playing Diverge Mafia rp on and off for over 2 years. I consider myself to be wanting helpful person to others as well as prevent harm to the rp environment. I recently came back wanting to play as if been influenced by the amount of success this server and community has become over time and that it is now stronger than ever. I ensure to provide assistance to help continue the legacy of Diverge Networks strength and empowerment it has on the gmod community as a staff member.

Do you have any previous staffing experience? (Please list where, what position and how long): I have not, but I am competent and interested in learning how to become a staff member for the sake of the community of Diverge that I have always wanted to be apart.

Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: Last I was banned for metagame while doing a pk I understand that I intended on breaking rules as you can not accidently do when metagaming for that I have reformed and it has been months since my last ban on record. (I have been banned 4 times on the time being on this server (2 for rdm, metagaming and 1 for Ltarp) ) My second to most recent ban was at the beginning of the month on February 2023 which was both over a year ago, RDM x3 [b](NOT ON PURPOSE) for a week because I thought I got threatened by 3 guys. In this situation I was under the impression that these guys came up to my business threatening to raid our property, thinking they were already told to leave by my employees, therefore I shot them. It turns out it was "miscommunicated" and that they meant that since I have a gun out on my property it would get raided by police. Over the week of being banned a scanned over the Diverge Rules on the website and tried to appeal my ban. I take full responsibility for my actions and the ones that took place. (they were alt principatos btw fucking around on black chars)[/b]

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: As of now, most players who knew me either forgot or don't play anymore and only a handful know that I've recently come back full-time activity-wise.

[b]What is your favourite moment on Diverge so far?: My favorite moment on diverge in history as of now was becoming made member of an Italian crime family. The roleplay was stunningly brilliant being scarred half to death on why I was entering a car being driven around the city stopping at many locations with an unknown family driver. Though scarred I followed through listening and respecting the orders. Lastly we pulled to a townhouse and dragged to a basement with men holding guns out. They place a tarp down and question. Do you know what you have done Mr. Andrew. I reply shakingly since I dedicated 3 months on that character no I do not remember but I respect my death. boom they guns fired. firing above my head. an old guy says congrats you sick fuck you are being made. We leave the townhouse and drive to far warehouse where the ceremony began and that's history. My favorite diverge moment of all time.[/b]

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If I am the only staff on and there are no other available staff in the game I will take the ticket, other than that if active staff are currently on it's on them to solve the issue at hand.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I make sure I clip every interaction that I assume is an abuse of power situation and I report it to UA.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: * I'm on the server a lot almost all day. I want to enforce the rules so everyone can have a good time and a good RP. I think I can staff and do 20 tickets a week and probably can do more than 20. I really want to help new people have a good RP and find where they are welcomed. Even with school I spend most of my time on diverge. I know a lot of staff and it looks fun and I think I could do it pretty easily. I feel like becoming staff is a great way because I can meet new people that I wouldn’t in rp.

Why should you be considered over other candidates?: * I think I would be better staff than other candidates because I'm a hard worker and would basically be on 24/7 helping out with tickets. I enjoy when people are doing RP and having fun on the server. I've never taken a LOA too and I don't plan on starting. I think I could add to the staff team and the server. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I have always helped people whenever I could. Before my ban, I loved being apart of the Staff team. It always gave me something to look forward to when I didn't have anything to do on the server or in general. Even after my ban I continue to help out anyone who comes up to me and asks and helping is just something I really like to do. Staff is a great way to meet new people and make new connections within the community.

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?: If I were to witness it happen or be involved in the situation when it happens, I would type in staff chat that I have witnessed someone being rdm and they will most likely make a ticket soon. I would clip it from my perspective just in case the victim does not have a clipping software or proof of it happening. If a ticket comes in saying that they were rdm then I would obviously switch characters once I am out of the roleplay scenario that I am in if I am in one and I would claim the ticket if anyone else hasn't.

You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?: I would gather as much evidence as I could using a clipping software and after I have gathered a reasonable amount of evidence then I would make a staff report on the forums and detail the situation and provide all the evidence I can.

A very good friend of yours joins the server. Over the course of an hour, you’ve received multiple complaints about them not following rules, RDM’ing, and minging. How do you proceed knowing this can affect your friendship with them?: I would treat them like any other person that plays the server. I would tell them the rules before joining and after that it is their decision on whether or not they want to act accordingly. If I was the one taking the tickets on the so called friend, I would warn them for the first offense and then after that punishments will have to be given to the friend.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: Just to overall help the server. I'd like to be part or assist in any way I can in events particularly. As well as to get rid of minges and people with NITRP in general. I'm also on pretty late at night, sometimes there is a lot of crazy stuff happening that late and I could be around to hopefully prevent a good amount of it. I do really enjoy playing this server and wouldn't help making it a tad bit better for the community
Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I'm mature when needed. I can put in a good amount of effort into taking tickets and whatnot. I'm pretty active in general late nights and some days. I'm always willing to help people out and have a good attitude. I'm pretty good at de-escalation in general.

Have you been banned before on any of our servers? If so, why?: I got banned on gaminglight when I was 13 for trolling, that's all I really know of.
Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: Id say the people i hang around know me pretty well. I would consider myself someone who puts in good effort as well as someone who can take charge of a situation. I've been nominated as "employee of the week" for being a "outstanding member of this organization" and that i should be seen as a "role model for how things should be done" from the faction leader. Im known id say as either someone who does what he's gotta do, or someone who loves havin' a good time and laughs. Overall I might not be well known in the community as a whole, I can say I trolled a bit here and there before I was really into the server, but in my circle of friends I'm looked at as someone they can count on.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I would like to be a part of the Staff Team because it's an awesome way to meet new people and build on characteristics that need improving. Being staff is a grind, and I enjoy enforcing rules to keep the server safe. I care about this community and want to contribute. I have a lot of experience, with over 14 thousand hours on Garry's Mod spanning almost ten years, staffing on various RP servers. I am patient and have a calm head, essential qualities for effective moderation.
Why should you be considered over other candidates?: I bring Alot of experience, having staffed on many RP servers in different roles. With 14.200 hours on Garry's Mod, I have a deep understanding of the game. My patience and calm demeanor make me an effective mediator. I barely see any staff at night and I am on late nights and believe I would help tremendously in the staff team by taking tickets and doing late night shifts I also have seen a lot of meta gaming and minging and I want to defeat that and bring a better community to the server and make people think the server is not a joke and build a better community and people who play the server.

I am on every day and I rarely take LOAs and I am very active. I am very mature and I feel I can be unbiased in any situation that I am put in, am very efficient and fast working and typing I am on every day and is very time free and able to work late hours when some wont I am very good at watching for minges and rdm I am also a participating member of the community so I know rp and rules that some do not know I can load Into the game very fast as my internet is very good so I am available throughout the week.

What is your motivation/reason for applying?:
The motivation/reason why I would like to apply is because I enjoy my time on the server. I feel like I should be doing more for the server by helping out the community by being a moderator, making sure everyone is enjoying there time on the server. I like helping others and I want to make a better face out of myself by showing that I really care for this community and I will take every opportunity to help someone. I'm online most of the time when most of the staff team isn't and I think with this. I can handle a lot of tickets when the server is up during irregular hours. Pizzle was the first staff member I interacted with and he was absolutely amazing and helpful when he was assisting me.

I think I should be accepted over other candidates is because I don't stop. I'm always eager to learn something new and help a community that I enjoy being part of. I just want to be part of something bigger and help in anyway that I can to be part of that. I may know the commands for nutscript and SAM but I will learn along the way if I am accepted. What is your motivation/reason for applying? My motivation for applying for staff is the lack of staff online in the early morning around 2am est to 7am est. I want to be on the staff team to make the community a better place. There have been times when I have been on the and have had nothing to do on the server so I would like to help out when I can even though I didn't really do much the last time I was staff. What is your motivation/reason for applying?: I Have seen corrpution at its worst and staff its best and i was hoping to fix bad players and help the good ones in the truth. I also have seen staff being stressed and not enough staff members online during the peak of minge hours. Long Answers

What is your motivation/reason for applying?: *
First and foremost, I dedicate a ton of time to the server and would only be right for me to extend a hand to help out. I was staff here previously and ruined such a great opportunity, if I was given the option to come back I would absolutely prove myself otherwise. I have a genuine enjoyment for helping people. Along with that, people have told me they like the way I handle staffing from previous experiences. This also gives me an opportunity to switch up the pace and doing something different while playing on the server. Finally, I have a handful of friends on the staff team and I think it would be an enjoyable experience to be working with people I am familiar with.
Why should you be considered over other candidates?:
My goal is to help other players in any way I can, so that they can better understand what is right and wrong. This allows everyone to fully enjoy what Diverge has to offer. I also want to handle staff reports and tickets in a proper way. This means investigating each situation thoroughly and taking appropriate action when there is a disagreement. I believe that it's important to get to the bottom of things and find fair solutions. In addition, I consider myself to be patient and calm when dealing with hostile individuals and groups. I try to act as a mediator, helping to resolve conflicts and find solutions to problems. Overall, my main aim is to contribute to a positive and enjoyable environment in Diverge. I want to help create a space where everyone can have a fun time with whatever players choose to do on the server. After all, we are here to play a video game and have fun. I am a dedicated player to this community and love the players within it. I believe it is important for players to see a friendly face when interacting with staff. During my tenure as staff across all the servers I've helped, I've had the pleasure in assisting in over ten thousand tickets. I am super active at hours where there is not normally staff online, before/after day time map switch. Along with being late night/early morning, I am usually on during prime hours (player peak). If given the chance I will absolutely take advantage to aid the server. This is what I like, this is the first game I get on each day and it would be a waste to not try and apply.

Would you say that you are well known in our community, what's your reputation, what do other members think of you?: *
I would say that I am fairly known within the NutScript community as a whole, through my prior staff experiences. People also know characters of mine through Diverge, due to the hundreds of interactions with other players. Unless an in-character enemy of mine, I wouldn’t say that many have bad things to say about me, however you can’t make everyone like you. I try my best to hold myself to a high level of professionalism and understanding.

Problem Solving

Someone RDMs and you are currently off-duty. How do you handle this?:
Clip it, if other staff members are around take it up as a normal SIT, but if I’m the only one active/around and if I’m not directly involved I’ll take it into my own hands if absolutely necessary. Talk to the guy, have him explain his side of the story and see if what he says matches up at all with my clip. Then I would take the person he RDM’d and interview that person to collect their side of the story. Based on that outcome and by my best judgment I would punish the person accordingly.
You have seen a fellow staff member of higher or equal rank than you abusing fairly often, but never doing anything too noticeable. What do you do?:
I would likely mention my observations to the staff member I suspect of abusing. Check and see if there's a misunderstanding, etc. If not, I will collect any evidence that I can and take it up the Staff Chain of Command, so it can be sorted appropriately.
A member of your faction / friend of yours has a ticket made against them accusing them of RDM’ing, and minging. You know that this person rarely does this when you play with him. How do you proceed knowing this? Does it constitute possible bias?:
There is always a possibility for anyone to call bias. First and foremost, I would talk to my friend and tell them that I think that is unacceptable behavior. Because I am associated with them my course of action would be to have another staff member take the ticket/weigh in on the decision to make sure that the outcome is as fair as possible.
