Why should you be unbanned?: Please check the logs you can see the vast majority of fist fights that I engaged in were with people who instigated them, had no Idea that being named keemstar was against the rules, nothing was explained to me in the staff sit. And calling me a low quality player? I have been playing the server for months, I know I sometimes fuck around, but this time is ridiculous. I would like you to check the logs. I do apologise, however, for the name, but surely this could have been explained to me, as another one of my previous characters Ronnie Pickering could have also fallen under the "fail rp" rule but I was never told off for that name. Reason for appeal: Been extremely active lately and have found myself playing this server by choice over the last month since finally having time with my new work schedule. The ban was due to mugging in which I would mug and then give the money to a my best friend around the city. I'd been mugging as a immigrant seriel mugger role from russia by the name "Barefoot Bandit". I read through the server and network rules 3 times to ensure I understand EVERYTHING after my ban. I truly try to learn from my mistakes and correct those same mistakes. I've taken screen shots as notes to have when I need them. For the metagaming, I read the rules and was completely in violation for using discord call as a means of communication. Keep in mind I started playing the server 4/19/23. Yes sounds like it's been long enough to understand everything as far as I knew I thought I was in the clear of any violations after readying the mugging rules. Reason being for using the third party platform for communication is due to my friend not having a mic. So he uses his phone to speak. I introduced him into the server around a month ago when he got his first pc. We are both really new to the pc shit. Him more so than myself. It'd been year since reading the rules myself and have obviously found myself in violation. (I take full responsibility for my fuck ups). I haven't been in much trouble since really grinding my main account with the mafia families. I actually just became made yesterday after almost a year of grinding. Started the family a day after joing the server on 4/20/23. I've taken it very seriously and played my role heavily. Yes I have priors. But anything I've been in violation for I keep in mind to not ever do again. As far for the money transfer, I've never intentionally moved money from a alternate account to my main account. The situation with the "money transfer" violation. Was purely a mishap. Explained. When I brought my friend into the server I know alot of individuals don't stick it out because of that first initial grind and time put into getting started. I loaned him 200k and told him to pay me back when he's comfortable. On top of that I also sold home 3 clothing items so he had clothing to feel established (not look like a noob). Yoons waistcoat, flamingo chain rose gold, and a black dolce diavolo set. Told him to pay me 30k for yoons, 75k for chain, and 100k for the diavolo set. It never occurred to me that when I was committing the muggings and handing him cash that when he paid me back on my main it was violation of money transfer. Since I gave him money on my main and also on my second char. I didn't think of it that way because that was not the intention. Nor was it premeditated. But I understand how that gets tied up into that violation. Completely. I understand me handing him money on one char and that same character paying me money owed on my main breaks those rules. Even though he already had that money ready for me (so he says). It was honestly a dumb mistake neither of us knew we were doing wrong. If I could turn back time I would have taken the mugging profits and had him use a alternate char to give him the money so we wouldn't be in violation of the rules, as well so it didn't get tied up looking like either of us was trying to money transfer. Neither of us considered it because those were never the intentions and as I stated not premeditated. I'm content with the pk on my "Curtis Lowe" char. He was a mugger and his time was around the corner. But I hope my main isn't pkd. I really do follow the rules and now after a year I've re-read the rules thoroughly. I love the server and the community and hope I can get a lighter sentence in this ban so I can get back In the city and just play my role as my mafia man. I can promise not to do either offenses again. As for my friend cub, I hope he can get unbanned. It wasn't his fault I should have been more aware of the server rules and guidelines and just had him stick to faction rules. Considering I introduced him into the city recently. I don't feel he deserved a pk or ban. He extremely new to both the server and pc gaming. I try my best to help him out considering all the different things you have to learn. I first joined Diverge on Tuesday, August 3rd 2021, from there on I continued to play for a total of 6 days, during that time I participated in active roleplay, even going as far as becoming a Underboss of a faction. I wish to own what I did, I had many bans, my last ban was by Fishman, originally for 3 months, but 13 year old me decided to scream and baby rage and demand for it to be permanent, which Fishman ended up doing. Following that, I post a ban appeal on this very forum, I was denied, which was deserved considering my actions and what I had done. I wish to formally apologize to Rem, and all the other staff who may still very well be playing from that time for the trouble I caused them. I wish to formally apologize for Rem, for the specific instance when upon being denied to be unbanned, my 13 year old self decided to say I was going to rape this person. This was one of the most horrendous things I've ever said to anyone in my long history of being on the internet, to this day I regret it, and have been thinking for a long time on how to phrase a formal apology to this person, to Rem, I hope that regardless of me remaining banned or getting unbanned, even if you may never forgive me for what I said, that you can remember that I truly regret everything I did especially the comment that I made. Unfortunately this is not the end of my mistakes, following being denied to be unbanned I decided to abuse the fact that the server had not yet made a way to prevent those permanently banned from alting onto the server. This is another one of my many mistakes that I deeply regret, I should have taken my ban like a man, instead I chose to further disrespect not only the server but the very staff that ran it by continuing to break the rules on a alt account. I finally decided to write this ban appeal after years of watching how the server progressed and became better, I was recently shown a video of the new update coming out that looks like the most insane update I've seen on any Gmod server, seeing this video was the final push, solidifying my choice to finally own everything I've done, to finally apologize to all those I hurt, all those I continually disrespected, those that I said those vile, disgusting things to. I'm not ashamed to admit it, during the time in which I was playing diverge I was in a extremely deep whole mentally, using all games to vent all the pent up frustration I had from real life sources, since then I like to think I've grown as a person and left behind the decrepit, degenerate activities that I used to engage in. The person I was, was truly the lowest point in my entire life, when I look back I'm disgusted by the things I would say, the ways I would treat those around me, and who I was as a person in general. Why should you be unbanned? I made a ticket because somebody was violating NLR, Monty took my ticket and proceeds to not assist me. I made ANOTHER ticket, he proceeds to take it and not assist me. This going around for about 3 more tickets until he finally takes me to the Admin Sit. He just sits there doing nothing for 3 minutes straight until he decides to TP me back and ban me for "Spamming Tickets".

Why should you be unbanned? I made a ticket because somebody was violating NLR, Monty took my ticket and proceeds to not assist me. I made ANOTHER ticket, he proceeds to take it and not assist me. This going around for about 3 more tickets until he finally takes me to the Admin Sit. He just sits there doing nothing for 3 minutes straight until he decides to TP me back and ban me for "Spamming Tickets".

Why should you be unbanned?: I fundamentally don't understand what actions I took to deserve this ban. My full actions prior to the ban were getting arrested for reckless driving and resisting arrest, then sitting in a cell while my lawyer negotiated with the cops. When we couldn't come to a plea, I told my lawyer lets go to trial-- the cops moved me to a different cell, put me in pen faction, and said see you later at your trial. The RP was over and I logged off cause it was like 9-10 pm and I wanted to go to bed. Me logging off is the only thing I can think brought on this ban because there was no staff intervention during the entire duration of the roleplay so I don't think it was any of my in game actions, but if it was that'd be LTARP so I don't understand this ban. None of my actions last night broke any server rules, I spent most of the night just driving around.

Why should you be unbanned?
I was banned a while ago. Because I advertised Hylics on my second warning of advertising. I will put them below.

Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): So i was banned at around 3:45pm UK time the event that lead up to my ban occurred at around 3:20pm UK time. I leave for work at 3:30pm UK every Wednesday at the same time to get in for 4pm UK time. Throughout my years of playing Diverge i have never received a ban or a note for LTAP and the staff member handling it stated that he attempted to message me despite no messages coming through on my phone (evidence below.) I became notified of my ban at 8pm UK time through various sources and I began to question Mangos (banning staff member) as to why. His reasoning behind the ban of LTAP was completely as I did leave but not with any malicious intent. In my eyes the shooting which occurred was completely valid.

As seen in the clip below, I was seeing a suit to a man for the agreed upon amount of 60k he then gave me 40k and an excuse, he attempted to scam the suit off me which is why I shot him. The second shooting occurred when a man came over to me started hurling abuse at me and then spat on me, this is battery. I shot at him then he jumped into a car with two other accomplices. ALL of my shots were directed at the black man in the front passenger seat of the car. It is only due to a bug (I guess) that the other passengers were injured. From what I know from the rules both of these kills were valid as one tried to scam me and the other assaulted me.

After hearing about the ban i messaged Mangos the banning staff member, he generously gave me his time and told me why he banned me and that i should make a forum report. I also explained to Mangos that I did not receive his message as i was at work and it didn't come through. He then suggested that i should of messaged other staff members about the situation to which i replied that in my eyes the shooting was valid for what they did. The only problem with what i could see here was that Mangos banned me for RDM x4 despite only having evidence of one killing, the video clip that was provided showed that i shot the man recording first.

The reason to which I believe that Mangos banned me for x4 was that Darkfire (a staff member with observed all of this) said in staff chat that he had just saw me RDM 4 people. To the best of my knowledge Darkfire could have no input it the case as he observed it happen (unclear whether he was as staff or ic.)

Why should you be unbanned? I have been playing diverge for going on two - three years. I love playing the server and its always my goal at the end of the day to have fun and to stick to the rules to the best of my ability.

The only reason I could think of why I was banned was because of a new mafia server coming up which I will not mention in fear for being banned on forums as well. I am in the discord for that mafia server and I sent it to people that I knew STRICTLY THROUGH DM's to check out the server. I was not trying to advertise the server on any diverge platform, which discord DM's are NOT diverge related whatsoever. I was also NOT PLANNING TO LEAVE DIVERGE WHATSOEVER. Diverge was, and still will be (if I am unbanned) the main Garry's Mod server I will play in. Even though the new server owner made me staff manager, I will always be dedicated to diverge. I never wanted to hurt the diverge community by pushing this server as if it was the new diverge. Anyone I DM'ed can vouch for me because I also told most of them I was not leaving diverge whatsoever, not trying to harm diverge or Pendred in any way or anything of the sort. I just saw a new RP server and thought it was a fun new server and shared it with people I knew THROUGH DM's. Overall, I never had intent to harm Diverge at all, to advertise this server as a "new diverge" or try to leave diverge for that server.

Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): Some guy was hitting my car with a hammer, so I got out and tried to kill him with my knife, he then killed me. I respawned and walked back to my car from the hospital, where I did punch the same guy again as he was still hitting my car, he then killed me again. When I was dead, I heard the staff member say that he was going to ban me and was then tped, I tried to explain why I tried to kill him, but he would not listen, Every time I have hit someone's car, I have been killed, so why does this not apply to me as I believe that the guy was trying to kill me, but I was not explained what the NLR was. I do apologise for the staff disrespect, as I called him a 'fucking weasel' and I apologise for that but I was angry and frustrated and did not mean it. 

Why should you be unbanned?: I believe that the punishment is too harsh, as I was not reported by the individual, but instead the staff member was watching me, he also asked the guy if he wanted me punished, and he left it up to the staff member and did not give an answer, who would not listen to my explanation.
