Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): I was banned as I have prior RDM warnings despite being ill informed of the corruption rules in PD, I made an appeal in the past that I would get my Police char banned to have my ban time reduced, this was used again me when the admin (Rem) checked my warnings, I had a MRDM ban from my police char and a few RDM warnings, I have recently looked over the rules and have a good understanding of them, I was banned based of a 30 second medal clip that shows nothing but the suspect being shot by myself, moments before the suspect shot me, leading up to him being shot I gave him plenty of commands to "Stop", "Don't move", "Face away" "Walk backwards" all of which he ignored by moving around constanly, facing me and not paying attention, he breaks fearRP by not listening to commands at gunpoint and moments before this his associates were shooting heavy firearms at my patrol can and myself, I returned fire and upon finding the suspect after he fled and I got away, I was the only officer on, out numbered in a foreign area with suspects inside different apartment rooms, this was entirely IC and I shot the suspect as he was known to have firearms with intent to use them against police on his person, He broke fearRP and therefor agitated myself, a lonely NYPD officer that is shooken up by getting shot at with a high level of adrenaline, the suspect is told to face away very clearly and then decides to face toward me, The suspect didn't listen to my commands and was shot. Maybe I should have been taken to an admin sit or informed that I had been reported so that I could actually defend myself against the accusation instead of banning myself based on one side of the story, every story has two sides and the suspect has cut the video to exactly what he wants you to see. He and his associates were firing at my vehicle prior to this event and therefor I was on my toes, he failed to listen to numerous commands and turned at me suddenly whilst under gunpoint, if admins were actually active they could have voided the situation due to fearRP entirely but even after multiple pleads over the last week, they fail to remain active on the server when we need them. I have had my prior warnings and bans used against me despite making it obvious I didn't know the rules back then, I made a deal with Canadian and have since read the rules, this was entirely IC and was not RDM, it had a reason behind it and that being that the suspect had just shot a civillian and then opened fired on me as I was patrolling and witnessed them murder the civillian, All morning the suspects were 4 manned up in a green rolls royce and constantly caused firearms situations, therefor the officers dealing with the situation that followed these events were also on their toes, we were assaulted and shot at over and over. That's why I shot him, because he was commanded not to move and he failed to do so. This happens in real life all the time, For example, https://www.cbsnews.com/news/mesa-police...ing-video/ This suspect is shot due to him failing to listen to commands after the police assesed a significant threat to life, I was shot at and assesed the same threat, the suspect was shot in the centre mass where I am trained to fire if I feel threatened by a suspects presence with reasonable threat to life, that suspect shot me with an automatic firearm and therefor he was shot when he turned andfaced me suddenly, breaking fearRP and failing to abide by commands.
Why should you be unbanned? I had full IC reason to shoot the uncooperative, murderer that suddenly faced me after being commanded to face away, I was in a foreign area in which I do not recognise as It is private property that I have never ventured, the suspects that joined him were within the motel complex and therefor I was on edge and full with adrenaline, my heart IRL was literally thumping and you can hear the distress in my voice, he didn't listen to commands, was armed and a murderer that shot at myself, a lone NYPD officer that was on edge and had a gun trained on a homicidal non-cooperative suspect. Therefor he was shot, it is also been to reported as a known gang area and has a warrant pending on it.
