Reason for Ban: RDM
Length of Ban: 2 days
Reason for appeal: I wasn't in violation for any server rules. Didn't have any chance to explain the situation. Was a he say she say situation. The victim didn't make the ticket nor was in the sit down with administration.
Why I should be unbanned: I'm a extremely active player. Follow the rules that have been scripted amongst the server rules. As well as admit to any wrong doings when I am in the wrong. The ban was due to me killing a citizen whom owed me cash from a loan I had given in prior weeks. The individual had be arrested and cuffed. As the police were escorting the individual to PD I see him. (I had confronted the individual about 30 minutes prior to the "violation"). In which led to the individual running and getting out of my sight. I was told by police during the sit down it was too "convenient" that I happened to see him and kill him. Keep in mind the victim isn't even the one whom made the RDM ticket. Reason being is the two officers made the ticket for their own personal loss. They explained they were trying to get a plea deal for the probationary officer so he could rank up. But my actions interfered with that and it didn't sit well with them. If they needed that plea they could have taken me to jail for the assault on the individual. But chose to shoot me instead, while after making a ticket to address their own loss. They stated we had prior history in logs. (Which I didn't deny, the guy is a friend I met over a month ago and rp with in the server). They made it seem as if I can't do RP situations with friends of the server as such. Claimed it was meta gaming when I dont even talk to the guy outside of the server itself. The ban and lack of evidence was petty in my opinion. I feel it was unjust for the admin to make the call to ban me, when neither officers were killed nor assaulted by me. The character whom died wasn't even in the sit down. I told the victim who died that if he didn't get my money to me he would be killed. He didn't hesitate to flee and run away from me as I chased him. I lost him and after a bit of time I was standing a ways down the street from pd and seen them dragging the individual in cuffs and made my move to kill him. They seen it as meta gaming or a premeditated act when it was completely not that. I offered to show proof or even asked them to call the individual to the sit down to ask if he owed me money. But the claim was it "might be a friend that will vouch". No proof of that just a bold assumption that lead to a ban. Feel it's unjust for the admin to hand out a ban for a ticket made by someone whom wasn't the victim of RDM or really involved in the situation that was going on. As stated they made the ticket because they are tired of chasing people and wanted to secure a plea deal for the probationary. But unfortunately their individual that was in custody was killed by myself. I'm my opinion it wasn't RDM. It was simply me staying in character and RPing with the individual while I seen the opportunity
