It being battery in the eyes of the penal code means that cop and government rules apply as well. And I sent that to you, so we dont need to rehash that. He didnt punch you, he did what under the government rules is considered a non serious crime, therefore in order for that to be valid you would have had to have warned him.

The ban will be reduced to 48h. This is more than a form of disrespect, if you pull up the rules, under killing rules there is a detailed definition around what an active threat versus a passive or idle threat. This situation revolved around an idle threat, not a active threat therefore the kill is unjustified. The reason it moved past just verbal disrespect is when he spat on you, yes you can react but server rules dictate a proper escalation that needs to happen. As this is your 2nd ban around RDM, I do think 48 hours is more suitable for this situation, going forward please read up on the killing rules and know the difference between the types of threats. Penal code doesn't matter in this situation, as a cop if someone spits on you, I hope you dont blast them away. |
