Hey! A French faction sounds cool-- but this application is very hard to read. I suggest going into the Accepted category and viewing some of the examples in there. Usually a Google Doc for the backstory is best. A good application is essential!

I think it's a good idea and more diverse but the backstory leaves me a bit wanting. The first half is great but the second have is white generic.

I really like how you reformed it!
A +1 for me, but I do want to say that perhaps you should add more personality beyond the drug dealings/weapons smuggling of the faction. Perhaps a unique motivation for the leader, or change a bit of the background to put him into a unique situation.

Do not worry! I do have other story motifs after he got to America however, they were unrelated to the backstory. I do have a full lore figured out including how my underboss got in business with me, but as said I just needed a way to get him to America from France!

An european faction - other than the Italians and the Polish - would be a great addition to an already diverse roster.
