In conclusion, it seems like an accident that would not have went down if proper identification was made more clear, and of course not running right up to a gun man after he was in the heat of the moment and attempting to draw on him, it would be clear what the out come would be, the Detective should have been more careful with actually detaining the assailant rather than putting his own life in danger and ultimately killing his suspect . The Dentist deserves another chance.

EDIT: I saw the video, the detective never claimed to be a cop, he simply said to drop the gun. Not quite a great way to prove that you're a detective.
Not sure how detainment would work when a man is shot and the gunman still has a gun in his pocket. Another thing to note, there were clearly cops in uniform holding shotguns right next to the Nazi, and the guy thought he could get away with shooting the guy once without anyone noticing, almost like shooting a spitball out of a straw at someone whose back is turned. However, I saw everything go down and told him to drop the gun. The guy knew what he was doing so how could he possibly have been so overwhelmed to shoot a guy who is telling him to drop the gun he just used to shoot someone sneakily? That's just what I'm wondering.

Because as i stated the man who walked up to me with a double barrel looked like a whiteshirt who said drop your gun, If he had said NYPD drop the gun or something along those lines i wouldnt have shot however he just came up and said drop it

Was the one who was PKed the one who pulled out the gun initially, or was it the guy who shot you and downed you?

I was the one that pulled out the gun because i thought a whiteshirt was going to kill me, had they made it known it was a cop i would have surrendered.

The player who was PKed did not initiate gunfire against PD. Not only that, the undercover officer did not identify themselves. While their argument is that they said put your hands up etc., any normal criminal typically or can do this. While on the other hand, FearRP was broken, it was not enough for it to be a PK.

Your character has been reinstated and can be used again.
