Organization Backstory (Min. of 150+ Words): The Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips is a street gang based in New York City, originally born in Los Angeles during early 1976. The gang has since spread to other major cities in the United States. The Rollin’ 60s was originated as a set in the Westside Crips by a member named Stanley Williams. They officially became independent in 1982 when the Westside Crips disbanded. Stanley Williams became the Kingpin of the gang and started recruiting men and women into its ranks, they created sets of their own and each one had a hierarchy. The former Westside Crips clique was now official and better than ever.
The gang made money from racketeering, auto theft, armed robbery, extortion and heavily took advantage of the crack epidemic. They made connections with other street gangs, some allies but some also being rivals.
The former boss, Stanley Williams was killed in a shooting by an enemy gang. Somebody new had to take over, and it was a young man named Pierre Mack. [present day]
