Either the PD is 'dead'

or it's 'too active'

Yet the complaints stating that there are too many criminals never make people piss and shit as hard.

If a cop is minging or breaking the rules report them and have them punished OOC'ly.

Active Police brings a balance to the gameplay as opposed to criminals running 100% unpunished as they continue to do illegal shit without any risk. It's nonsensical, and these arguments only come to light when people are actually arrested to police.

"But it's bullshit they're abusing their power"

-If it's against the server rules report them
-Otherwise report them to IA or sue them
-Otherwise it is literally the 1980s, a rougher, tougher slightly more corrupt police force was in fact the reality, it's not like modern policing which is heavily criticized, scrutinized and reformed. The vicious racist Rodney King beating, one of the first serious cases of Police abuse happened in 1991, and those Officers were let off! The server's actual punishment to corrupt officers / excessive force (when caught) is actually more severe then the real life equivalent of the time period.

If it does not meet any of the above requirements the arrest was most likely legitimate and you're complaining because they did their job.
