Dealing with this before it gets out of control.
1. You cannot use Don's Order on someone outside of your faction. Character was a Gambino at the time of killing, so this technically makes the whole thing void in itself.
2. The character was not a a member of the criminal aspect, can you imagine Carmela in the Sopranos getting whacked for divorcing Tony? Would be ridiculous.
3. Permission was previously given OVER a year ago, even if none of the previous factors existed, the to act would've been then not now. You wait literally an entire year when you had any other time.
4. Edit: By US law you cannot testify against your partner. So no information would go anywhere anyway.
