You ran over a police officer, which is initiating a violent confrontation, and were PK'd as a result. There aren't generally 'second chances' for PKs. That's why I always highly recommend reading over the guidelines and rules carefully. If you strike an officer with your vehicle in what even appears to be a purposeful manner, in real life or on the server, you will be shot and killed.
There aren't things missing from the PK. I understand your frustration with the abruptness, but in the future, be more careful and deliberate with your actions.
