The pk guideline as follows: Initiating a violent confrontation with Police Officers and being killed. (Conditions apply, read further down)
Note the 'Conditions apply, read further down'
■ Initiating a shootout or violent confrontation with Police can lead to a PK. Killing or attacking an Officer after initiating a violent confrontation leaves you PK active from officers for about 15 minutes. Generally we want people to not immediately go for the gun when dealing with Police, as a result if you escalate a situation to a shootout and lose you can be punished via PK as your character was killed. This does not apply if it is the Police that fired first or escalated to a shootout.
■ This does not apply to players who hit officers with their fists (Unless they Murder them)
■ This applies when a person shoots / stabs police for no reason or for a non valid reason (Traffic Ticket/insults/etc)
■ This does not apply if the Officer initiates the gun fire or escalates the situation to violence.
■ Officers may not execute suspects, they must make an effort to arrest a suspect and when possible render aid to a bleeding suspect.
Unfortunately attempting to claim that using a tazer is 'violent confrontation' to slip past the specific wording isn't going to cut it. It very specifically states in the rules that it's not a PK if 'Police fired first or escalated to s shootout'. The wording is quite clear that it refers to lethal firearms and not tazers. Tazers are a normal non lethal way for police to detain a suspect meaning if a suspect wishes to escalate the situation by using a LETHAL firearm they can be subject to a PK if they lose the fight, ergo the risk / reward of a scenario.
Not to mention there has not been any scenario overturned for this reason. Tazers are very clearly NON lethal as a user cannot be killed by them
and players can very literally just outrun them. Your choice to pull out a gun to kill the officer is your own.
A tazer doesn't constitute a shootout.
