Hello! I am the staff member that administered your ban!
I saw the message about a hostage situation at World Corp and went to investigate to see if you all had actually had a hostage. Once I confirmed you didn't a stayed to monitor the situation. My observations showed that yes, you all had radios, and some of you were using them. However I did observe you off on your own, out of ear's reach from your guys, not saying anything. I then sent you a PM reminder that if you guys were going to do these type of RP scenarios, you needed to use in game communication, to which you shook your head no in game. I stayed and watched you that whole time, to monitor the situation as well as watch how you interacted with your comrades. Under that observation, I did not see you use your radio at all, nor did I ever hear you speak in game until after the cops died. There are logs also to prove you did not type any responses through radio either. After what I had seen I got into your elevator to remind you all of what I had told you all earlier about, and you all got extremely defensive and hostile before running away before I was finished talking with you all. This is when I pulled you all up onto the roof to talk to you. Once you all were on the roof you all were being extremely disrespectful towards me as I was attempting to talk to you about the situation. I knew that it wouldn't matter what I said at that point so I issued Metagaming warnings for everyone except you. I issued you a ban because of the interaction I explained above.
I believe a 12 hour ban for your metagaming is justifiable given the fact that I gave you two warnings earlier on in the day as well as past offenses that you were not issued warnings for, and that you had made a character today for the specific use of mass mugging.
