Reason for appeal (dispute/apology): Clearly something was misunderstood I killed a couple guys then all of sudden I get banned I don't even get it justified and was never pulled to a sit. The staff member in this situation was Draggy and clearly misunderstood the situation due to the fact my kills was justified and I never got a right to explain my side of the story in a sit. I don't have a video which makes it look really bad and also the fact that I have my prior bans which unfortunate means I will stay banned but I'm still making this appeal due to the fact I will feel like I was mistreated and not giving a chance to defend myself. The last guys I killed which Draggy claims were RDM were two guys that got in the shooters car which make me believe they were apart of the same exact group of people which at distance is hard to tell so I took my chance this was obviously not intentional to be RDM but it ended up being I guess?

Why should you be unbanned? The guys in the car originally had been killed and was breaking NLR and then two more guys got in the car which I killed thinking they were apart of the same exact group of people due to them being around in the situation. 

Draggy believes the situation can be explained through logs instead of asking both parts.

Additional Information (images, videos, etc): Don't have any which doesn't make my case any good but I hope for once that there is actually a group of people that believe what I say.

Hello, I am not the banning staff member, but I am one of the guys you killed.
My self and Andrew BeLucchio were riding around in a red car; that was not the shooters car,
logs can prove that. When we pulled up to the gas station to get my car. And we just got gunned down.
No warning or any type of initiation, just shot dead.

Before this, you shot 2 people before me and Andrew, that was literally walking on the street.
Keep in mind, me and Andrew literally had 0 affiliation with this situation.

Mass is pretty cut and clear in most parts. I understand you were killing people who broke NLR however vigilantism is still against server rules. Innocent people in this case can be shot and which they were even though you were attempting to shoot those breaking NLR to kill you. However, Mass is still Mass you need to be more careful whenever shooting making sure your target is who it is. I would say its is a very whacky situation but going gun-blazing every time is not gonna result well. Especially with your POs, you need to be very careful with who you shoot.

I was involved in the situation and I will try to fully explain the events as they played out from the starting point up to where the RDM took place. It starts a group of Laventine and Sanzensenkai were killed by a group of us near the gun store after they shot one of our own in front of us for no reason. As we ended up killing all of them we weren't too bothered about the RDM and found it fun. Shortly after when we were driving around, the same group of four rammed our car then jumped out to start shooting us. Killing me and another person in the car. Seb also jumped out and it was shortly after when he got to actually fight back. He thought the red GTR was also with them which is who he shot. The reason we believed them to also be in the group is that when we drove down from the scrap yard to the motel area we saw the red GTR turn around and come back our way after we had already been getting tailed by the group of 4. Then we were rammed by the other group who were the actual targets. They had broken NLR to come back and kill us. I agree that it was RDM, on Seb's part but he had a reason. He intended for it to be a fair kill as at the time he thought they were against us in the combat. Somone in our group then reported them for NLR and RDM but then Seb was banned during the sit without being brought.

He did not intend for it to be RDM. I know firsthand that since his unban he has been very careful to stay within the rules and had absolutely no intention to RDM today. For this reason, I think his ban should be at least reduced if anything as he played the game in good faith and did not want to kill uninvolved people.

EDIT: It wasn't being a vigilante, he was fighting back. People that call a sit during a gunfight because they think it is RDM is just pathetic. You finish the fight then call a sit if you believe it to be wrong. The same people that do that are the ones that shout from the grave that it was RDM and they will get you banned.

Alright, so looking into the logs for all of this I can get a solid picture of what happened. First to address Seb's claims.

Of the screenshot Draggy provided, 2 out of the 3 men killed there were unarmed, and neither had died so it's impossible they were under NLR. In fact one of them had just logged on and loaded their character 5 minutes and 39 seconds prior to the altercation.

Concerning the sit, Administrators are not required to provide sits if they find the case clear cut, obviously you may disagree with this or their final decision but that's why these appeals exist, and I can see how it looked from a staff member's perspective here. They are only human after all.

As for all the testimonies prior it does seem this was a case of 'mistaken identity' a little gun ho aren't we. However, I do recognize you attempting to abide by the rules following your unban, I'd recommend maybe being a little less trigger happy.

-Likewise you cannot kill someone for looking like the person you meant to kill/you cannot kill innocent bystanders. Be 100% sure you are shooting the right person

I will give you the benefit of the doubt, I don't want to look at the ban list and see your name there again however.

For now I'll be reducing the ban to 2 days for RDM x2.
