As much as it hurts to say it, Italian families are still well represented in the context of the server, so much so that they're a separate section in the faction roster. That being said, I would happily endorse any faction that presents something distinctly new to the server.

As shrimps mentioned Italian families still have plenty of representation on the server even without the likes of the Bonannos. Furthermore, the Martono Family has been around before but on MP and on there it didn't hold up well in the climate for a few reasons. Firstly, the family took in anyone and everyone leading to a horrible reputation consistent of being called minges, retarded, etc. Secondly, because of that reputation this Italian faction/family was one of the few that simply never made it into the commission either as a district or it's own seat. To put it simply it is really hard for you as an Italian faction to NOT make it into the commission in some capacity and the fact that the previous Martonos never managed to is alarming. Essentially, the history behind the Martonos and the fact that it has no individuality makes me not support it.

This was under different management as the Martono Family was shifted from a faction with good roleplay to a faction with no roleplay and mass recruitment. 
The current management can change the reputation of the family since the current management was apart of Martono before this happened and know how to properly make and manage a family.
Regarding the Italian Faction stereotype the Martono Family isn't exclusively Italian The family can have members as long as they are Southern European.
The mass recruitment will no longer be a policy of the Martono Family as the process for new members is to have a internship which interns are not whitelisted and after a internship is completed they are either let in or dismissed. Overall the Martono Family had a bad era on MP which does not represent the whole factions history.
