Yeah Why Not Tell All the Flanagans to +1 very good idea so my suggestion gets accepted! The Only Problem is probably only doorkicks and will be solved eventually I don't find nothing else that's wrong with FBI. Cops are Different and what they do is on their fault.

I'm gonna point out a few things since I am a fed we do have something to balance us out we have our corruption division that investigates FBI members for being corrupt & other government officials for being corrupt, and you want the officers to record the situation where he said he had probable cause bro trust me they hardly record in general, plus you want to bring an OOC thing into IC that just sounds like metagame to me regardless of them not getting approval to be corrupt cause if we wanted to hand out an IC punishment to anyone corrupt we need stuff that is admissible to court such as CCTV cause at this point you are just encouraging people to metagame and get someone fucked because you don't how to gather evidence or to make a case against anyone that is maybe corrupt. Moving past the corruption part I'm gonna talk about guns, it doesn't matter if it cost to buy the said weapons such as an RPK and an M249 with the right connections you can get an RPK for like 25K per and an m249 for 30K which isn't a long time that's 6 shipments of oil for fuck sake to get one M249 and the majority of the M249's we own were seized off the Flanagan's that +1 this reform and the RPK came from the DEA and FBI merge that happened, but I do not support the ESU guys getting M249's because it is pretty easy to get into ESU, but this is what happened one time after a war that happened we saw these 2 guys with M249s ran into Napoli and when we attempted to make an entry there were like 4 guys with M249s in a fortified position in the door way killing 2 FBI agents almost as soon as the door opened the 3 others were gunned down because we were underprepared cause the only heavy gun we could carry was a Colt Commando and we had Kevlar on.
So if you want to make it more balanced we should keep the RPKs, M249s, Colt Commandos and any other weapon that was listed, or keep corruption balanced by leaning how to fill out a subpoena to use the recording you have IC.

-1, Law enforcement already has many checks in place, which are simply under-utilized. While raising the hiring standards may be a good idea, there already is legislation to deal with the "gun carrying issue". Perhaps a weapon limit may be introduced as well by pendred. Besides this however, I find much of this complaint to be complete nonsense. This server is MAFIARP. Exactly 0% of the population has never broken a law on the server, or acted like the law has signifigant reprecussions for hiring, future employment, getting a mortgage etc. asides from a PK. Even if we require OOC evidence of each and every arrest for probable cause (which would spiral into an INSANE amount involvement on the part of staff (every single time someone would demand video to see probable cause, creating thousands of unecessary tickets which are already somewhat dismissed due to most of them being bs)) the us vs. them mentality that is a fact of life on mafiaRP would continue. Unless citizenRP is actually engaging, has concrete rewards, and there is a pathway to have fun legally on the server that is enticing, I fail to see why this would need to be implemented in its entirety.

- 1 I agree with some of the problems here but I think the inclusion of OOC evidence into rp situations is entirely absurd for this and with many arrests being white shirts the need to provide records of all of this OOC would be an incredible waste of time and infringement of rp.

Okay, Fellas, Imma make this very very simple. This is an In Character server, if we start using out-of-character recordings any time where an IN CHARACTER situation occurs it seems like user bull shit. This is just for criminals to complain more to staff and will just give more reasons for criminals to go unpunished. If this gets accepted I have very little hope for any single arrest because we suddenly need OOC justification for IC issues. Corruption does not just occur because you get your feelings hurt by being arrested, plus normal officers are granted to be corrupt but if caught they get PK'ed themselves. This is utter nonsense from a policy standpoint and will bring nothing but more inactivity to the Police (Probably its intention, thus allowing criminals to run rampant, and even when caught they cant be changed due to OOC requirements) This is like saying you can't make drugs without first taking a recording of buying the equipment and saying your intention for the use of the drugs, and if you don't you cant sell the drugs. It makes little to no regard for the officer's standpoint other than the generalization that we are all corrupt, and apparently stupid if you think that we will agree to such a horseshit policy that you feel must be just dandy because you hate being arrested. When IC becomes OOC it causes a lot of issues, this just gives more backing to the retards who stand in cells and spam staff for an IC issue.

The FBI is doing just swell. The issue that should be focused on is the lack of RP from the NYPD. Have seen FBI agents go and have off duty drinks and other activities like that, and doing genuinely RP overall. The NYPD are treating this as a shoot shoot arrest game rn. They need more RP. They should be a RP focused faction. That's the real issue. End the shoot shoot arrest game.

The reason being that being corrupt in the PD is not against the rules, you do not need staff approval for being a corrupt unless you are planning to plant evidence on someone for any reason. You are legit suggesting to make the server into like a Star Wars RP server where you get arrested then you call staff because of "false arrest". This will waste time of staff, as majority of arrests are done by non corrupt officers and will just lead to the staff sit going into the favor of the NYPD's side it would be a waste of time for the officer and the staff member. If you are falsely arrested then go ask for a supervisor or make an IA report. If you are truly falsely arrested and you were charged without any evidence or you just took the plea deal when the officer did not have any evidence because you were sitting in the cell for an hour then you can go to the Courts and they will remove that charge. You should also file a report to IA. Quote:Putting it simply, the law enforcement is the most hated faction, debatably out of any, and the reason why is because they have the incredible power of PK, with little to no risk themselves. If they die, they do not lose anything, for they may simply go back to their armory, pick up new weapons, new ammo, and head out. However, for the hate they get, they ultimately end up becoming a faction that doesn't serve the people, nor care about the actual administration of justice, more so becomes a faction that is tired of the laws and regulations and thrives off of the idea of PKing people. There are law enforcement offers that relish it, and in fact, yell out in jubilation at the prospect of having murdered someone. In addition, it is very difficult to change law enforcement or even legal systems at that. In addition, with the changed firearm laws, the law enforcement has become the most terrifying faction. They walk through the streets with guns in hand. Shotguns at that. FBI sometimes even walk through the streets with Colt Commandos in their hands. They have now legal permissions for weapons such as RPK, as well as M249, which are incredibly costly and difficult for criminals to obtain, of which they may obtain casually any time they die through their armory. One may argue that the law enforcement needs these weapons because criminals have access to these weapons all the time. However, one must also acknowledge now that the law must also be balanced in the event that the law, or rather city council wishes to make more and more legal restrictions to increase the amount of crimes. There should be literally no reason why law enforcement have 200 round LMG, or 75 round RPK, or suppressed weapons. While I do not know all of the solutions to the problem, or perhaps even the full depths of the problems, all I know for a certain fact is that there are problems. If not just IC, then OOC. I am not saying all federal agents or law enforcement are corrupt or are PK hungry. I simply state that it is a prevalent problem when you hear law enforcement agents cheer at the prospect of PK. It's a miserable job being a fed, and I imagine that's why in part they feel entitled to make other people's lives miserable. And to mention above, this is an IC matter which can be handled by the City Government, about their guns and everything. And also mentioning the M249 is restricted to only the highest of situations, and is only granted use as a last resort only a group of 3 people can use it with requirements of what I listed. You also mention PK hungry which is a problem with their mindset and not all of us are like that, and then you stated that we don't care about the administration of justice which is highly incorrect from what I seen, however only from the corrupt officers that were in the PD and investigated then terminated from the PD by Internal Affairs or their superiors. This seems like a problem with the FBI not the police department, you don't see us walking around with M249s everywhere we go. The Colt Commandos are also restricted to certain group of officers, not all officers have them only the ones that have been trained to use them and are in the respected sub-units. Not to mention you mention our arsenal however lets mention the fact when every time there is a war there are people on roofs with full automatic rifles and sometimes military grade machine guns. The problem is the FBI because IC'ly you can't really complain about them due to the fact they are unnamed and they don't identify only with a badge number not a First Name or Last Name. Plus they are not suppose to be easily corruptible or even corrupt at all, the fact is that the FBI High Command are hiring Agent Trainee's that have no brains at all. I swear to god that majority of the people I seen join the FBI they were a cop that didn't even go past officer or wasn't even in law enforcement for good amount of time, then you recruit them into a Federal Department? It just leads to unrealistic behavior from the FBI, which for majority of the time don't act professional or actually use their brain. The application doesn't stop minges or corrupt officers from joining the PD, I know this because I been Head Of The Academy for the NYPD for months and it just doesn't work. Same with just hiring people normally, it's more better and faster because the Field Training Officers are suppose to be showing them with visuals and walking them through scenarios and then actually go into the field and actively teach the cadet or probationary officer on real situations. However I feel that having a use of force training in the Training Procedure acceptable and I might add it myself to the Training Officer Guide. Quote:One of the biggest issues with law enforcement is that there is no real rp inside of the force, while Mobs still cling to it through the use of ceremonys and a getting system police lack this I do not know what you mean by this, elaborate when you can.
